A Cincinnati native, Anna has called Chicago home for the past 20 years. Her background is in the association world: communications, event planning, community outreach and development. Anna was responsible for coordinating an annual 5K run/walk with proceeds designated for undergraduate and graduate scholarships for food science students. She encountered a couple of Elvis impersonators running at her 5K event in Las Vegas! 

She enjoys searching for Petoskey stones along the shores of Lake Michigan with her family, reading nonfiction bestsellers, and serving on the board of her neighborhood youth soccer league, AYSO. 

Anna is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
