The Baylor College of Medicine Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center is recruiting a full-time pediatric hematologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The Hematology Center (Main Campus) has 16 clinical faculty members, 6 advance practice providers, and 8 dedicated nurse coordinators. Programs within the Hematology Center include Bone Marrow Failure, General Hematology, Hemostasis/Thrombosis, Immune Hematology, and Sickle Cell Disease/Thalassemia. Faculty with interests in Hemostasis/Thrombosis, Bone Marrow Failure, and/or Immune Hematology are sought for this position. The Hemostasis and Thrombosis Program includes a comprehensive Hemophilia Treatment Center, Young Women’s Bleeding Disorders Clinic, and collaboration with a Transfusion Medicine service supported by a comprehensive coagulation laboratory. This position may call for participation in academic pursuits such as clinical or basic science research, quality improvement, and/or education on a case-by-case basis and will be discussed with Division leadership during the application process.
