The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking two applicants at the Assistant Professor level or higher with interest in Hematology. The Hematology program has a well-established track record in outstanding patient care, teaching and clinical and translational research.

The successful candidates will be committed to care for patients with blood disorders at both Weill Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and NYP/Lower Manhattan Hospital located in the Upper East Side and lower Manhattan in New York City, respectively.

Responsibilities include clinical care, research collaboration, and teaching fellows and residents. The successful candidates should be board certified or eligible in Hematology and hold or be eligible for medical licensure in New York State. 

The applicants will practice medicine in newly renovated outpatient facilities caring for patients with hematology disorders and collaborating closely with our hemophilia, thrombosis, sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, immune thrombocytopenia and other platelet disorders programs.  

At the lower Manhattan site, the candidate will also participate in the expansion of the hematologic malignancy program, partnering with the leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma programs.  Both candidates will provide inpatient hematology consultations requested by various specialty services on a rotating basis.
