The Thrombosis and Hemostasis Program in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a PA or NP to join our team of 6 physicians, 2 APPs, and 2 nurses to care for patients with thrombosis and/or bleeding disorders.  The program, directed by Mary Cushman, MD, sees over 1,300 new patients annually and the APPs work as independent members of the team, with full support of the physicians.  We are a designated Hemophilia Treatment Center of the CDC.  Our hospital is a regional medical center in Burlington, Vermont, serving about 1 million residents in northern Vermont and New York.

We are seeking an individual with some experience in management of patients with venous thrombosis or bleeding disorders but will provide training to the successful candidate if needed.

Burlington is a vibrant university town on the shores of Lake Champlain with ready access to family recreational activities such as skiing, cycling, hiking, and boating.  It is an easy driving distance to Montreal, Boston, and NYC.
