Dr. Wheeler provides clinical care for pediatric patients with bleeding and thrombotic disorders, with an additional interest in coagulation laboratory medicine. Her collaborative research portfolio includes industry and investigator-initiated therapeutic and observational trials, and her primary personal research interest is focused on female bleeding, as well as a new interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr. Wheeler has been an active participant in the HTRS community since 2014, including roles as co-founder of the ConECCTOR group, DREAM award co-chair and DEI SEARCH planning committee member.
