Dr. Shavit cares for patients with bleeding and thrombotic disorders. His research interests are in “clinically directed basic science” using zebrafish as a model to study the genetics of hemostasis and thrombosis. He is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the American Pediatric Society, and has been a member of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Council of the National Hemophilia Foundation (MASAC). He has served on the HTRS board of directors since 2018.
